Entry requirements for Namibia

Current information on entering Namibia:

On August 26, 2022, the Namibian Ministry of Health announced that from September 1, 2022, no vaccination pass and/or PCR test would be required to enter Namibia.

Special feature of this tour:

At the Namibia "classic" 2022, Richi and Erich Weilbächer from Namibia accompanied us with a jeep and trailer. We were look forward to exchanging ideas with him.

Since the jeep with a trailer cannot drive all routes, the jeep will accompany us on certain routes without a trailer, which gives us more security and flexibility.

Admittedly, we are absolute Africa fans and were very sad that our previous tour operator Explo-Tours no longer offered this type of tour.

With zebrafari motorbike adventures on an African tour again, we were very excited and were not disappointed in any way.

Before the start of the tour, we received detailed and timely information, tips and assistance from the organiser. This all-round feel-good package was to continue on our 4-week tour. Clemens and Josef proved to be very well prepared. Flexibility and active problem-solving on site are very important to the guys.
Richi, our local chef, motorbike towing service and drone rescuer spoiled us with delicious food and was generally always in a good mood.

The group was really great, always happy to come back.

Speaking of always being happy..............we have already signed up for the next tour.

Four weeks of enduro touring through Namibia while it is winter in Germany: this is the ideal winter escape. Namibia is an enduro paradise with only a few asphalt roads and a large selection of tracks in all levels of difficulty, so that you can ride sometimes easy, sometimes challenging routes, depending on your form on the day. Add to this the grandiose nature and endless expanse.

The support vehicle transports the luggage and provides cold beer in the evening at the camp. That's how it can be endured.

Und wieder hatte uns der Afrika-Virus = Wiederholungstäter Gefahr angesteckt.

Auf unserer 4-wöchigen Namibia-Kenia Tour hat sich Zebrafari – motorbike adventures wieder als perfekter Veranstalter bewiesen. Afrikanische Küche dank unserem Koch Osman aus Tansania ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen. Einfach nur lecker!

Die Tourenplanung war sehr abwechslungsreich mit vielen Sonderetappen nach dem Motto:
Nicht nur biken, sondern auch Land und Leute kennenlernen.

VOM ATLANTIK ZUM INDISCHEN OZEAN: 6600km, 6 LÄNDER, 5 NATIONAL-PARKS

Wer die Seehund-Babys am Cape Cross am kalten Benguela-Strom,
und gleich dahinter den heißen Wüstensand der Namib/Erongo, die Victoriafalls am Ende des Caprivi Zipfels, den Hoba Meteorit, ne Zambesi-Hippo-Bootstour und die tolle Enduro Leopards-Hill-Road in Luangwa erfahren hat,
erfreut sich im eigenen Zelt direkt am Beach des Malawi-Sees, auf die lecker Bordküche +
2x kühles Nass aus Kühlschrank + See.

Egal ob Du ein ungeübter schwedischer 20to-Busfahrer bist, der seinen rosa Karren im Sand versenkt, oder nur einen Riesen-Schraubenschlüssel brauchst:

der Zebrafari-Truck + Team Josef/Clemens boxen jeden da raus!

Von den Elefanten, Gnus, Löwen, Giraffen, Zebras des tansanischen Mikumi-NP düst man in kurvigen Straßen hoch ins grüne Bergland der Usambara-Veilchen, wo Tee, Bananen, Mangos und allerlei tropische Früchte am Straßenrand gereicht werden; nach nem voll-digitalen Grenzübertritt nach Kenia zeigt sich frühmorgens der Kilimandscharo bei seiner Umrundung mit Schneekappe. Durchs lustig-quirlige Verkehrs-Gewimmel der Mio-Stadt Mombasa wartet zum Schluss am Beach ein toller Hotel-Pool mit ner kühlen Erfrischung auf die nun routinierten Enduro-Popos.

für mich war es das erste Erlebnis dieser Art,

d.h. die erste Reise in Afrika und die erste Reise mit Enduropisten und dann quer durch Afrika von Namibia bis Kenia!

Dank Eurem super Service von Beginn der Buchung (mit Informationen vor der Reise, Eurer Vorbereitung von Tour, Strecke und Übernachtungen) bis zu Eurem Service auf der Tour, 24Std. rund um die Uhr, war es ein echt tolles Erlebnis für mich:
Es war toll die unterschiedlichen Landschaften Afrikas zu erleben.
Unvergesslich wie nah wir auf den Extrasafaris einigen Löwen, Elefanten, Flusspferden kamen und die Tiere beobachten konten. Und die Eindrücke der Menschen und ihr Leben in Afrika. Ein tolles Erlebnis waren auch die vielen originellen Übernachtungn und Camps mal dirkekt am Fluss mit Blick auf Flusspferde oder mittem im Wald, auf dem Berg mit tollen Aussichten oder freies Campen umringt von den Einheimischen, einfach spitze.

Eure Versorgung mit Frühstück und Abendessen war echt lecker. Ein großes Lob an Euren Koch Othman.

Aber wirklich das Beste: Wenn mal etwas nicht nach Plan lief, wurde es passend gemacht! Geht nicht, gab es nicht!

Hier auch Danke für's Huckepack nehmen meines Motorrads, als ich nicht fahren konnte!

Othman der täglich für bestes Essen sorgt und Clemens der alles im Griff hat und organisiert.

In 2022, we all didn't know exactly what else the pandemic would bring us and what travel restrictions there would be.

The Namibia Tour 2022 took place very successfully and it was worthwhile to "keep the door open as long as possible" in autumn 2022. In the end, our participants decided through sufficient bookings that the tour could take place. Thank you very much for your trust.

Together with Erich Weilbächer from Namibia, we had put together an interesting and varied tour and also found and incorporated additional variations during the trip.
